Amy Frugé, DPT, is the founder and owner of Converge Physical Therapy.

Amy believes that Physical Therapists have the opportunity to truly get to know someone and their specific pain points in a unique way that helps to see and treat them as a whole person. She values educating her patients on how to listen and respond to their bodies, enabling them to feel confident and autonomous. Amy is passionate about providing care that gets you back to doing what you love without pain or limitation.

Who Amy Works With 

As a spine specialist and someone who has dealt with years of chronic pain herself, Amy will help you discover the root cause of your symptoms. Numbness, tingling or weakness down one limb? Ambiguous pain and symptoms that make no sense? That’s her bread and butter. 

Amy also enjoys working with mountain athletes, including (but not limited to) lovers of climbing, trail running, snowboarding, hiking/backpacking, biking, and parenting.

Fun Facts About Amy

  • She grew up competing internationally on the USA Karate Team and won 4 World Championships!

  • Amy taught her dog to get her a beer out of the fridge & to clean her baby’s burp clothes

  • She has worked with professional athletes and Olympians of multiple sports including rock climbing, distance running, bobsledding, skiing, snowboarding and track & field

  • Amy has also worked as the Travel PT for several of the national climbing teams traveling stateside for the Climbing World Cup in SLC each year!

  • Amy can fold fitted sheets really well moderately well
